Beeline Workspace MCP Β· controlled beta

Put your Beeline workspace in the conversation.

Build courses in ChatGPT before signup, or connect Claude and ChatGPT to your own Beeline workspace. Ask about progress, diagnose gaps, build learning content, and manage work with the same permissions you already use in Beeline.

One connection, one workspace

1

Sign in. Use your normal Beeline account.

2

Choose workspace. Grant access to a single workspace.

3

Work in Claude. Use data and actions limited to that workspace.

Workspace-bound

Your selected workspace is carried in the OAuth token β€” it is never a prompt or tool parameter.

Permission-aware

Admins work across their workspace; managers are limited to the groups they manage.

Built for real work

Explore insight, diagnose learning gaps, build content, and manage group structures in one flow.

What you can do

Ask, analyse, and make controlled changes β€” in natural language.

Understand your workforce

Review completion and progression, compare groups, inspect learner summaries, and surface capability gaps.

Find the reason behind a gap

Diagnose a learner, group, or workspace using role requirements, failed questions, knowledge decay, targets, and manager evidence.

Build and maintain learning

Create, clone, edit, publish, and refresh beelines, cells, questions, surveys, and source-backed content.

Manage group structures

Preview and confirm group creation, moves, edits, deletes, and member changes. Higher-impact changes are explicitly confirmed.

Move between workspaces safely

See the workspaces you can connect to; switching is a deliberate re-authorisation, not an invisible scope change.

Keep the human in control

Use returned Beeline links to review the work in-product. The assistant should preview changes before it applies them.

Connect

Connect Claude in a few minutes.

Recommended for Claude Code & Cowork

Install the Beeline plugin

The plugin makes the same secure OAuth workspace connection and adds Beeline skills and commands, so the assistant uses your workspace tools well β€” it discovers before editing, previews changes before it applies them, and can turn insights into shareable scorecards.

Claude Code

Run these two commands in your terminal:

/plugin marketplace add Beeline-life/claude-plugins
/plugin install beeline-workspace@beeline

Claude Cowork

Download the plugin, upload it via Plugins β†’ Upload, then approve the browser workspace connection when Claude asks.

Download the plugin (.zip)
Plugin vs. connector. The connector is the workspace tools on their own β€” it works everywhere, including claude.ai on the web and ChatGPT. The plugin bundles those same tools plus Beeline skills and commands, and is available on Claude Code and Claude Cowork.
1

Confirm access

Your Beeline administrator enables Workspace MCP for your workspace. You need an active admin or manager account; learner accounts cannot grant this connection.
2

Add the connector

On claude.ai (web), open Settings β†’ Integrations β†’ Add custom integration and paste the connector URL below. This adds the workspace tools only β€” no skills or commands.

https://mcp.beeline.life/mcp
3

Authorise and test

Sign in to Beeline, select the workspace you want Claude to access, and approve. Then ask:β€œWhat is our completion rate?”

Using Claude Code?

The plugin above is the recommended path β€” it adds Beeline skills and commands. If you want just the raw tools with no skills, add the connector directly in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http beeline-workspace https://mcp.beeline.life/mcp

Using Claude Cowork?

Download the Beeline Workspace plugin (.zip), upload it via Plugins β†’ Upload, then approve the same browser-based workspace connection when Claude asks.

Plugin walkthrough

ChatGPT app

Turn a conversation or SOP into a course β€” then make it live in Beeline.

Build with Beeline for ChatGPT

Anyone can create a private outline and source-backed preview without giving ChatGPT access to a customer workspace. β€œMake it live” opens a signed Beeline claim flow that carries the same conversation, outline, and sources into AI Build. Existing customers can also authorise one workspace to use the read-only Insights tools.

  1. 1

Open Build with Beeline. Describe the course you need, paste content, add a URL, or attach an SOP.

  2. 2

Review the preview. ChatGPT renders the validated outline and keeps source references attached.

  3. 3

Make it live. Create or connect a Beeline workspace; AI Build continues there for editing, publishing, WhatsApp delivery, and evidence.

How access works

OAuth protects workspace data before an assistant can use it.

The important bit

Beeline does not hand your password or normal session to Claude.

The connection uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Beeline issues a short-lived, audience-bound access token for the single workspace you select. The MCP service validates that token on every request.

  1. 1

Discover. Claude receives a 401; ChatGPT receives a tool-level challenge when it asks for workspace Insights.

  2. 2

Authorise. You sign in and choose the workspace to connect.

  3. 3

Bind. The resulting token includes workspace and role scope.

  4. 4

Refresh. Short-lived access tokens refresh without exposing a long-lived workspace credential to the assistant.

Good operating habits

Use an assistant as a capable teammate, not an unchecked automation.

Do

  • Start with a read: ask for the relevant groups, learner, beeline, or source before changing anything.
  • Ask Claude to preview structural or people changes and state the impact before you confirm.
  • Open the Beeline links returned by build actions to review the result in the product.
  • Switch workspaces deliberately when your question belongs to another client or business unit.

Keep in mind

  • One connection is scoped to one workspace. Claude cannot broaden it by naming another workspace in a prompt.
  • Manager access respects managed-group boundaries; ask an administrator for workspace-wide actions.
  • Workspace MCP is enabled per workspace. If the connection page does not list yours, ask your Beeline administrator or support contact to enable it.
  • For scheduled, high-volume system-to-system automations, use the REST API or Make.com integration rather than an assistant conversation.

Need a hand?

Start with the Knowledge Hub, then bring your real question.

The guide explains the connection and first workflows. Once connected, Claude can help you inspect what is happening, build what is missing, and take the next controlled step.
